The Olympia Kiwanis Club manages three gardens in the Olympia area. Over 20,000 pounds of produce is raised, harvested, and then donated to the Thurston County Food Bank each year.
Consider a donation to support the garden staff. Part-time farm/garden workers in temporary employment with the Food Bank acting as employer, helps give the gardens week to week continuity, and helps us keep ahead of the weeds. Just request that your donation be used to support Thurston County Food Bank staff. Thank You!

After a lag of a couple years, our membership committee is getting in gear and hosting a new member orientation. While some of you have been members for some time, you missed the last one. So, please come.
As you will see in the attached flyer, it is scheduled for April 16th at 6:30 P.M. in the Mercato Ristorante` board room.
Our club’s committee chairs will be there to fill you in on their committees’ purposes, accomplishments, and goals. If you have not volunteered for any committee(s), this will be your opportunity to do so.
Please make a special effort to be there. It will be your chance to talk informally with our club’s leadership and one another. To entice you to come, the club is providing some of Mercato’s special desserts. No-host beverages (e.g., wine) will be available from a Mercato’s server.
We ask that you RSVP. To plan for this, we need a good count.
We look forward to seeing you for a fun, informative evening April 16th.
