Kiwanis International is a “family” of organizations that focuses on teaching young children about the responsibilities of good citizenship, community service and building future leaders.
The Olympia Kiwanis sponsors the following youth clubs:
Capital High School Key Club
Olympia High School Key Club
Our sponsored youth groups independently initiate service projects and community service activities throughout the school year. Our club works through an adviser in each youth organization to coordinate our participation with their activities or to have them work with us on major service programs and fund raisers.
We are so proud of our youth groups and their accomplishments which make our community a much better place to live. The activities listed below are a small portion of the many projects they are involved in:

Hands on Childrens Museum Volunteer Crew

After a lag of a couple years, our membership committee is getting in gear and hosting a new member orientation. While some of you have been members for some time, you missed the last one. So, please come.
As you will see in the attached flyer, it is scheduled for April 16th at 6:30 P.M. in the Mercato Ristorante` board room.
Our club’s committee chairs will be there to fill you in on their committees’ purposes, accomplishments, and goals. If you have not volunteered for any committee(s), this will be your opportunity to do so.
Please make a special effort to be there. It will be your chance to talk informally with our club’s leadership and one another. To entice you to come, the club is providing some of Mercato’s special desserts. No-host beverages (e.g., wine) will be available from a Mercato’s server.
We ask that you RSVP. To plan for this, we need a good count.
We look forward to seeing you for a fun, informative evening April 16th.
