MAIN QUESTION: Where will the money go?
Funds should first go to paying for the event/Kiwanis, then leftovers distribute for Key Club
Next year a budget should be further planned in advance (?)
Fundraising: each Key Club would generate some auction items via gift baskets
Auction
Gift Basket themes should have some school aspect like school colors, gift cards to student store, etc. but is not limited to school only (ex: self care, movie night, fall, underwater)
1 gift basket per Key Club, 2 or 3 from kiwanis - try to get donations from local businesses, members (service hours?), etc
Item Brainstorming: what will inspire people to donate? Tea, coffee mug, etc
Joellen will bring baskets to the next meeting
Desert Dash will be run by Joellen
Each Key Club will promote making deserts to Key Club members for service hours (4-6 per school) →order is determined by donation total per table (highest goes first)
Olympia High School's Theme: school colors, bears, pumpkin, fall
River Ridge: Underwater
Capital: Movie Night
